What we collect

Waitlist signups: email, role, monthly FBA unit volume, and (if provided by your browser) UTM campaign parameters and the referring URL. Retained until you unsubscribe or we close the product.

Fee-update alerts (sentinel pattern): when you sign up for fee-update alerts on /fees, we record only your email plus the literal sentinel value fee_alerts_only_signup in the role and monthly-volume columns. The sentinel makes the row queryable and de-duplicatable but signals that no real seller demographics were collected for that signup. Standard waitlist signups (with role and monthly volume from the form) are stored separately.

Calculator usage: we do not store calculator inputs. Submissions are rate-limited per IP (60 requests per 10 minutes). A hashed IP is held in Redis for the duration of the rate-limit window (at most 10 minutes) and then discarded.

Analytics: we run PostHog with cookie-less session recording disabled. Declining the consent banner opts you out of all analytics capture. Analytics data is retained for 180 days.

Error telemetry: we run Sentry to capture frontend and backend errors. Stack traces are retained for 90 days. No form-field contents are logged.

Consent banner:your Accept/Decline choice is stored in your browser's localStorage under the key cratefit_consent. It is not transmitted to our servers.

You can request deletion of your waitlist row or a copy of the attribution metadata we hold on you by emailing hello@cratefit.com. We will respond within 7 business days.
